
Gaby Martin
CPAAfter earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Victoria, Gaby realized that while she enjoyed solving complex problems. It was business and entrepreneurship that truly sparked her interest. She went on to complete her Diploma in Accounting at the University of British Columbia before joining CNB in 2018 as a CPA student. She completed her CPA designation with the firm and has since grown into a Partner, building her career alongside the clients and communities she serves.
Today, Gaby works with a diverse range of clients across British Columbia, providing assurance, tax, consulting, and advisory services. Her experience includes working with First Nations, municipalities, not-for-profit organizations, local businesses, and large private companies. She has developed expertise in the forestry sector, advising forestry operations and Indigenous business owners on both financial reporting and strategic business matters.
Having called Campbell River home for nearly a decade, Gaby is passionate about supporting the businesses and organizations that strengthen her community. She serves as Treasurer for the Forest Circle Society for Families; and previously served as Treasurer for the Campbell River Downtown Business Association and the Discovery Passage Aquarium Society.
Outside of work, she enjoys camping, mountain biking, exploring Vancouver Island’s beaches, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children.
