
Tom Miller
CPATom is a Vancouver Islander through and through, born in Victoria, he spent the majority of his childhood being raised in beautiful Campbell River, BC.
Tom attended the University of Victoria, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Tom then attended Camosun College to complete his pre-requisite accounting courses before starting the CPA Program. Tom first articled with a national accounting firm before accepting a position with CNB in 2016. After various promotions, Tom became a partner of the firm in 2021.
Tom works with a variety of different clients in many different industries, focusing primarily on corporate and personal tax, including corporate reorganization and tax minimization strategies. Tom is a graduate of the 3-year CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program and a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation. Tom also has a focus on assurance services, acting as auditor for a number of First Nations and non-profit organizations.
Outside of the office, Tom understands the importance of being able to give back to his community. Tom is a member of the Rotary Club of Comox and has served as Treasurer for a number of years and as Chair of the Ducky 500, raising over $65,000 for local non-profit organizations.
Tom was awarded the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC (CPABC) Early Achievement Award in 2026, which is awarded to celebrate members who distinguish themselves early in their CPA career through professional achievement and/or volunteer service, with an emphasis on professional accomplishment.
Tom has served on CPABC’s Public Practice Committee since 2025.
