Lesley France
CPALesley France is a proud member of the Kwakiutl First Nation and was raised in Port Hardy. Growing up on the water, she spent her youth commercial fishing along the coast from northern Vancouver Island to Southeast Alaska. Those early experiences instilled a strong work ethic, deep respect for community, and an appreciation for the importance of sustainable economic opportunities in coastal and Indigenous communities.
For more than a decade, Lesley has worked in public practice, providing assurance, advisory, and financial reporting services to a diverse range of organizations. She is particularly passionate about supporting Indigenous Nations, not-for-profit organizations, and Indigenous economic development initiatives. Through her work, she combines technical expertise with a commitment to helping communities achieve their long-term strategic and financial goals.
As an Indigenous CPA, Lesley values the opportunity to serve as both a trusted advisor and a role model for Indigenous youth considering careers in business and finance. She believes representation matters and is dedicated to supporting the next generation of Indigenous professionals.
Today, Lesley continues to draw on the lessons learned from her upbringing in a coastal fishing community – hard work, resilience, and collaboration – as she helps clients navigate complex financial and business challenges.
